When cherries are in season, here is a delightful way to serve them: stuffed with cream cheese, toasted almonds, and grated orange rind.

- 1 lb bing cherries
- 1 3 oz pkg cream cheese softened
- 1/4 cup almonds chopped and toasted
- 1 tablespoon light cream
- 1 tablespoon orange rind grated
Remove stems and pits from cherries. Set aside.
Combine cream cheese, almonds, cream, and rind.
Stuff cherries using a #4 plain tube and a pastry bag.
Garnish a fruit salad, or fold some into cherry-flavored gelatin mold.
