Mother's Popcorn Balls
Ingredients
- 5 quart popped corn
- 2 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
Instructions

Keep popcorn hot and crisp in slow oven (250).

Butter sides of saucepan.

Combine sugar, water, salt, corn syrup and vinegar. Cook to hard boil stage (250). Stir in vanilla. Slowly pour over hot popped corn. Stir till mixed.

Butter hands lightly. Shape into 4" balls.
