Filet Mignon Tournedos
Servings 4 servings
Ingredients
Sauce
- 3 tablespoon oleo
- 2 tablespoon onion minced
- 2 tablespoon flour
- 1 lb mushrooms sliced
- 1/4 cup sherry
- 1/2 cup mushroom juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire
Meat
- 4 fillet mignons
Tomatoes
- 3 to matoes
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Make the sauce

In small saucepan saute mushrooms and onions in oleo.

Add flour and cook slowly until slightly brown.

Stir in wine, mushroom juice, and seasonings. Cook until thickened.
Cook the meat

Grill meat rare or medium.

Pour sauce over.
Top with tomatoes

Slice tomatoes thick (use more if needed). Season with salt, pepper, onion juice, and oleo

Broil - add grated cheese. Run under broiler until brown.
