Spareribs Barbecued
Ingredients
- 4 pounds spareribs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons shortening
- 2 large onions sliced
- 1/2 cup catsup
- 4 tablespoons vinegar
- 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
Instructions

Cut ribs into serving pieces and season with salt and pepper, and paprika.

Heat cooker and add fat. Brown ribs on all sides. Add onions.

Combine catsup, vinegar, worcestershire, chili powder and ceelry seed. Pour over meat in cooker. Cook 15 minutes at 15 pounds pressure, let indicator return to zero.

Can be baked in oven also.
