This recipe for Butterscotch Sauce came from the Red Plastic Box Recipe Collection. This sounds like it would be wonderful on vanilla ice cream!
- 2 cups packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup light corn syrup
- 1/3 cup butter
Put in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook 3 minutes.
Let cool and serve over ice cream.
